A smalll summary of this site
There where two Rover on Mars, Spirit and Opportunity. They where on Mars exploring and gathering information about the planet. The main goal was to see the planets past and see what has occured on it.
Scientists want to discover if there was/is life on the planet by discovering spots where water could be located.
Why you should care about the rovers
Mars may one day be a second earth, if it is possible the signs of water and plant life on Mars may lead scientists to finding places to inhabit on the planet. Its a cause worth looking into, and may be a key componet to the life of human beings. The research and data gathered through these rovers will help scientists discover more about the planet and may lead to more scientific discovery.
